UNIPRO R66T ACADEMY
The UNIPRO R66T Academy, in partnership with Sheffield Hallam University, is a High Performance Program based in Sheffield for international and UK university students looking to study for a degree whilst taking their cricket to the next level.
In between the Further Education studies, players will take part on the program where they will receive expert coaching, based upon the principles of our High Performance Program in Adelaide, alongside training at the sports centre based at the University.
Players will be signed to a local club to provide more playing and training opportunities. The club membership and match fees is included for a minimum of 15 games. Players will also receive official UNIPRO R66T Academy merchandise for training and matches.
Players can enrol on the program now to start in September 2025.
WEEKLY:
- 4 x 2 Hour group coaching sessions lead by ECB Coaches
- 1 x 30 minute self reflection session
FORTNIGHTLY:
- 1 x 1 Hour personal specialist coaching session with ECB Coach
- 1 x 1 Hour group injury prevention, prehab and recovery session
- 1 x 1 Hour low impact cardio and endurance session
MONTHLY:
- 1 x Personal Goal Setting, review and preview session
- 1 x Masterclass with a R66T Academy High Performance Coach
- 1 x Mental skills session
YEARLY:
- 2 x Nutrition advice session
- 2 x Individual injury prevention, prehab and recovery session
- 1 x Level 3 Diploma in the Principles of Cricket Coaching
- Tickets to see selected domestic and international cricket matches
- Coaching and placement opportunities with The R66T Academy
EXPERT COACHING AND ELITE TRAINING
The UNIPRO R66T Academy will allow students to combine their studies with a program of high performance cricket training, incorporating all aspects of the game. Students will also receive strength & conditioning programming and advice, nutritional advice and support and mental and physical skills sessions. The program is designed for players looking to take their game to the next level.
Players will train as a whole group 4 times per week and also receive a fortnightly 1-2-1 session with a R66T Academy coach. Players will also have the chance to play and train with the Sheffield Hallam University Cricket Squad and play in local winter and summer leagues as well as British Universities Competitions.
